But then again, nothing is ever straightforward.
We had a fantastic time at Region X Weekend! Iota Upsilon took home three major awards! We won the Chapter of Merit award for most improved chapter, our president Lauren won the Outstanding Officer of the Year award, and our treasurer Nicole won the Most Outstanding New Member award!

Delta Zeta Region X Weekend!
I had such an amazing experience in San Jose this past weekend. Got to meet great girls from other chapters, learn their cheers, see what all other DZs have accomplished, and had TONS of fun watching sisters get hypnotized.
I am extremely proud of my chapter, Iota Upsilon, for receiving the Merit Award. I am also proud to say our current president won Officer of the Year. But what I am super DUPER proud to say is that I received the OUTSTANDING NEW MEMBER OF THE YEAR!!!! I am so honored to be recognized by the entire region and feel like my hard work and dedication is paying off.
I loved talking to other chapters’ Treasurers and hearing stories about their struggles and what solutions they’ve found for their predicaments. It was a shock to me that they liked the things I have done as Treasurer, and really gave me a boost to my confidence.
My whole chapter had a great time up north, and the best part would probably be all the shenanigans we got into on the car ride back. Love my DZ sisters and I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing group of women <3
